P. Trina Davidson-Brooks is a native of Clay County, West Point, Mississippi. Trina graduated from West Point High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the Mississippi University for Women “W” in Columbus, Mississippi in 2003. After earning a degree from MUW, Trina worked several years as a paralegal for a general litigation law firm in Columbus, Mississippi. Trina attended Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi graduating cum laude in 2009 with a Juris Doctorate Degree. While in law school, Trina was a member of MC’s Mediation Team and BLSA’s Mock Trial Team.
After law school, Trina started her own practice in Jackson, Mississippi specializing in personal injury claims, family law, workers’ compensation and criminal defense. In 2010, Trina accepted a position with the Office of Adjudication Disability and Review as an Attorney Advisor and was later appointed to serve as City Prosecutor for the City of West Point, Mississippi in 2013. In 2016, she was selected to join the District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney.
Trina is married to Alonzo Brooks and they reside in West Point, Mississippi with their two children Kiley Ann and Amare Alonzo. Trina’s interests include reading, playing the piano, traveling and enjoying time with family.
